Modern Family star Ariel Winter stuns in a light pink, form accentuating, cleavage-centred dress showing the world that she is no longer the pre-teen who first burst on the scene in the comedy series’ first episode. Currently aged 18, Ariel has literally grown up before our eyes blossoming from little girl to young lady. She recently posted a jaw-dropping picture of herself on Instagram at her graduation party that would bring tears of joy to any parent’s eyes.

Despite all the success she has received playing the genius of the Dunphy family, she is an example of the adversity any person may face during the transition from childhood to adolescence, especially under the scrutiny of the public eye.

“It’s hard when you’re a teenage girl, and you already have a lot of ridicule, and then you pile on more, and it’s kind of…it just gets too much.” She has been honest about the difficulties she encountered with cyber bullies constantly criticizing her appearance. The young actress shocked Tinsel Town when she admitted to have undergone breast reduction surgery, going from a 32F cup to a 34D.

“It’s really difficult to be such a small girl and have so much weight on your chest. You physically hurt. You can’t find clothes that fit right. I couldn’t find a cute bathing suit. Everything looked like I was trying to be ‘sexy’”. By now it is very clear that sexiness is no longer just an attempt on her part but rather something that comes naturally.

The Campbell Hall graduate and UCLA enrolled Ariel is basking in the joy of her growth, professional and academic accomplishments; showing the world that mean-spirited tweets and posts will not rain on her parade. In the midst of the excitement, she made sure to thank her sister and formal legal guardian Shanelle along with her husband David Barry Gray for throwing her the graduation party.

“Couldn’t be more grateful to @shanelle_gray & @davidbarrygray for throwing me the most amazing graduation party ever last night…the amount of love and support they’ve shown me for the past four years has been life changing,” said the actress according to E!.

She also thanked her father, other family members and friends for their support and for having attended her graduation festivities. “You guys saved me and taught me to be the person I am today. Dad…I love you!!! Thank you for always being there to support and love me as well and always put a smile on my face no matter what”, she added as a caption on one of her Instagram posts.

It is a well-rounded combination of her growth and successes both on and off screen that have left this young starlet beaming with joy and pride that she has permitted her 2.3 million followers and the rest of the world to share with her. Ariel Winter has gracefully shed her image of pre-teen nerd on the hit comedy series Modern Family to a maturing young woman, high school graduate and soon to be the University student.
