“Not in this lifetime”
In previous interviews when asked about the possibility of playing together again, both Slash and Rose stated, “not in this lifetime”.
Former Guns N’ Roses Manager, Doug Goldstein, said to Rolling Stone Brazil that Michael Jackson was the cause of the problems between Slash and Axel Rose. Back in the 90’s the king of pop was being accused of molesting children at his mansion. The manager said that Rose thought the accusations to be true and the issue really affected him because he was molested in his childhood. In 1991, Slash started working with Mr. Jackson and Axel Rose felt betrayed by one of his best friends. The association between Slash and Michael Jackson created a tense atmosphere in the band and after many fights, Slash left the band in 1993. Most fans consider this day as the day Guns N’ Roses died.
