Google aims to make games more accessible and enticing for people to buy them instead of just keep downloading free games because those are the ones users normally test.

The linkage between the Google Search page and the game trial will consist of a button for ‘Try Now’ appearing when typing, for instance, Clash of Clans. The launch of the new Search Trial Run Ads is planned to make its first appearance within the next few weeks and will also feature the choice for both free and paid game developers offer the free trial.

Also, app developers will now have the opportunity to introduce a stream or record options in the game thanks to the new Application Programming Interface or API for short. With this feature enabled, users will be able to record videos of their own games and stream them through YouTube or any other video streaming service.

Developers’ Cloud Nine

Google also seek to help game developers improve their presentation of the games, as it announced a new feature called Portrait Video Ads. This new trait will allow game developers to properly fit ads in the phone regardless of the direction the user is holding it.

In addition, a targeting option that allows developers to focus on those gamers who spend more than 30 minutes playing the games over a month will become available.

Ultimately, the new API lets developers add video and live stream functionalities to games, according to Tech Crunch. Users will be able to share their recorded or live-streamed videos on YouTube in a few months.

Google is set to offer developers more features including video recording APIs, predictive analytics game parameters management and more tools in order to help them improve their efficiency in game developing.
