Tom Felton, the actor who is best known for portraying the role of the evil Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, is going to be part of The Flash cast in the upcoming third season, TVLine reports.
According to TVLine, The 28-year-old actor has just joined the cast as Julian Dorn, a CSI Central City Police Department crime scene investigator who does not think quite well of Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), although he has gained a good reputation. Julian might have to show his abilities as a good investigator to piece together Barry’s secret identity.
Felton, who is also famous for his work on TNT’s Murder in the First and DirecTV’s Full Circle, will appear in the first episodes of the series. He will probably make his debut in the third season premiere, which is titled Flashpoint, named revealed by Grant Gustin earlier this month on his twitter.
The Flash will make its comeback on October 4 at 8:00 pm on The CW. This series is one of the most seen of the CW’s comic-con TV shows.
What will happen in The Flash season 3?
The last season finale showed how Barry Allen went back in time to stop the death of his mother. This fact worried a lot of comic book fans since it was not sure what the consequence of such act would have in the main character’s life.
As season 3 the Flash premiere is titled Flashpoint, this name might remind a lot of fans of one of DC’s most famous modern day arcs. In the upcoming episode, Barry Allen awakens in the present day in an entirely different world. In Flashpoint, we will see the Scarlet Speedster’s mother Nora still alive, as a lot of new and incredible events that have already occurred.
The fact of having her mother alive will probably be Barry’s game-changer since his life had always been affected by her death. Therefore, he might not have his powers.
However, this is not the only shocking thing of the third season premiere. In Flashpoint, Kal-El was not raised in Kansas. In this new world that Barry has altered from the past, the last son of Krypton will not be that ever-strong hero. First of all, because Kal-El would have come as a baby in Metropolis instead of a small town in Kansas. Since there were a lot of police officers during the meteor rain, Kal-El will be taken into custody. Later on, He will be known as Project Superman.
