Khloé Kardashian reveals on an upcoming episode of Kocktails with Khloé the reason why she broke up with James Harden earlier this month. The reality star says that the athlete cheated on her and that she had the receipts to prove it.
She admits that she told the Rockets player that they could still hang out without having to be committed, but Harden, 26, insisted that he wanted them to be exclusive.
“I’ve always said, ‘We don’t need to be monogamous,'” Khloé explains. “‘There’s a lot of s–t going on in both of our lives. You live in Houston, I live in L.A. Let’s just see each other when we see each other.’ Why wouldn’t you say, ‘OK, that’s great’?”
Kardashian, who began dating Harden last summer, clarifies that she did wanted to commit to him but chose to be realistic instead of “forcing a relationship”. She had lots of drama in her life as she was taking care of her estranged husband Lamar Odom after he was hospitalized following a near-fatal overdose last October.
Khloé thought it would be “unfair” to ask for a serious relationship considering her busy schedule and her interest in taking care of Lamar. She continues saying Harden insisted on being committed, but then he wasn’t. Kocktails With Khloe airs on FYI on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. EST.
Khloé says Lamar’s recovery is “just so unbelievable”
Just weeks after being released from the hospital, Lamar Odom traveled with Khloé to New York City for Kanye West’s Madison Square Garden fashion show earlier this month. The reality star didn’t really want Odom to go because she was afraid his brain couldn’t handle so much stimulus, as she told during an appearance on Hollywood Today on Tuesday.
Kanye West’s show was Odom’s first public appearance since his overdose. Kardashian admitted she had “a ton of anxiety” about taking Odom to the event, but expressed how impressed she had been by his recovery.
“About a month and a half ago, he wasn’t even walking. Now he’s walking on his own in Madison Square Garden,” Khloé said.
She added that the trip meant a lot to Lamar, given Kanye’s unconditional support during his health crisis. When Lamar couldn’t even speak, Kanye would come to the hospital and play his music for him.
