About 1:30 am, Washington County deputies found the bodies in the victims’ home. Washington County Sheriff Ed Graybeal told the Johnson City paper that they had been shot in the head sometime on Friday.

Henry, who lived at the home on the 100-block of Skyline Road, was not found. Earlier reports believed he may have left Tennessee, possibly heading to California. He was also considered by local law enforcement as armed and unsafe.

About 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Henry was arrested in New Orleans by the U.S. Marshals Service Task Force while staying at a hotel where he had checked in under his own name.

The victims were identified as Henry’s parents Robert Kenneth Henry, 66, Melody Diane Henry, 55, and his aunt Barbara June Hammonds, 64. He was described as a white male, standing 5’11 and weighing approximately 190 pounds.
