The first lady of the United States (FLOTUS), moved masses with the speech she gave at this year’s’ Democratic National Committee. FLOTUS went on to assure the strong objectives she and her husband had when they became the nation’s first couple and leaders.
First Lady Michelle Obama, attended the 2016 DNC to show her full support to the Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton as she addressed the importance of choosing good president that inspires American children. Just a week ago, the first lady received full tabloid attention, when Melania Trump performed speech at the Republican convention that showed strong similarities to FLOTUS first address when President Obama was just a candidate.
The First Lady received strong feedback from the common public at the convention, with standing ovations, tears and cheering as she discussed how sensitive it is to chose a good leader for America.
A tearful speech
FLOTUS addressed reliable and sensitive issues as she stood at the DNC, from slavery to child raising and leadership. Michelle Obama had ex-president Clinton standing up and the public in tears. The primary focus of FLOTUS speech was the future of American children, assuring this election wasn’t about democrats and republicans, it was about “who will have the power to shape our kids for the next four to eight years,” assured Michelle Obama.
Obama talked about the ongoing mission she endured with her husband and President, to raise their two daughters under the spotlight. Assuring they wanted their kids to grow up healthy and intelligent, with good role models and a stable country.
FLOTUS explained how voters should choose hope over fear and urge people to understand they don’t give into bullies and insults by saying “Our motto is when they go low, we go high.”
The First Lady talked about Clinton’s strong public services and how the Democratic candidate has devoted most of her life and career to helping others with public utilities and collaboration.
“I want a president with a record of public service, that shows children we don’t seek fame and fortune,” said Lady Obama.
Obama strongly affirmed how she wanted their daughters to see Clinton as a strong woman who managed to become the first female president of the United States. As she issued the importance of standing together, not caring about race, sexuality or origins.
FLOTUS talked about the strong history of America and the evolution that the American society has lived and the harsh times most citizens have had to endure during tough times in history.
“I wake up every morning in a house that was built by slaves,” said Michelle Obama, as she addressed racism and slavery.
The First Lady finished her emotional speech by giving her full support and trust to Hillary Clinton since she was sure the candidate would be the one that leads America to continue being a great country.
