Currently, Outlook is one of the most frequently updated apps for Android, and this week, Android Central is bringing the best of Outlook to Android Wear.
The cool thing with the smartwatches is that you can look at it and know the time, the date, the weather and notifications like phone calls, text messages and what not, instead of getting out your phone from your pocket continuously.
What are Outlook’s new updates?
The Outlook app for Android Wear has been getting a lot of enhancements and new features like Skype call scheduling, Facebook-Evernote-Wunderlist integration, Sunrise integration, and new access and security controls.
Also, when the app is installed you could be able to check any notifications that pop out on your smartwatch, use voice dictation and pre-set responses to get out a quicker reply.
The Microsoft Outlook for Android has improved a lot in the past year. It was first released on Apple Watch, and it has been so successful that that’s why they will release a version for Android.
On the Android version of the Outlook app you could now have an easier access to the calendar without having to go out of the app, so it’s all integrated. Also it works well with other Microsoft apps like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Microsoft stated that the app update is going to be released out to Google Play gradually, so it might be available for everyone really soon.
