A picture of a father sleeping under the crib where his sick son was sleeping has gone viral. His wife, Amy Palmer, took the picture that shows the man lying on the floor underneath Andre Jesse, her son. According to the woman, the 20 months old baby suffers from asthma, and he had a severe attack during the night while his father, Andre, was working. Amy took her son to the hospital and the man in the picture arrived as soon as he could.
“I had to take a picture because to many, all they see is a man lying on the floor. To me I saw a man who worked all night, who could have went home to go to sleep (I wouldn’t have minded knowing he worked all night), who could have asked me to get up so he could lay down. All this shows the amazing husband and father he is!!!” Amy Palmer told the local press.
Amy and Andre Palmer have been married for a while now, and they have a little one-year-old baby named Andre Jesse, they call him AJ. The child suffers from asthma, and yesterday night, when Andre was working, he had an attack, and Amy had to rush him to the hospital. She got in touch with her husband to let him know, but he just could not leave his post until early in the morning, so Amy stayed with AJ in the hospital. The room was rather tiny and there was only enough space for a crib-bed and a sofa-bed which AJ and his mother used, respectively.

Mother and son spend the night in the hospital without further complications, but they had a late visitor. When Amy woke up, she realized her husband not only had come to check on his son but also, that he spend the rest of the night there sleeping in the crib on the floor. Before waking him up and letting him sleep in the sofa-bed, she snapped the now famous picture and uploaded it on Facebook.
People loved it, and about 3500 reactions later, the picture was already famous everywhere on the net, especially on social media.
The picture was taken at the York Hospital Pediatrics in Pennsylvania earlier today where Andre Jesse was being treated, and Andre Palmer is already a local celebrity. Most importantly, he became his wife’s hero. But it seems like the man himself is quite shy since he is enjoying his temporal fame in silence away from both the press and social media.
