The back of the Government house was converted into a kid’s paradise to celebrate the children of the Canadian military families, and the Cambridges were enjoying themselves as they spent a family day outdoors.

Royal day-out

As a part of the royal tour, the Duke and Duchess arrived at Victoria in British Columbia with their two children Prince George, who is four years old, and Princess Charlotte who is only sixteen months old and hasn’t been seen much in public.

“The Duke and Duchess are really pleased to have this opportunity to introduce their children to Canada, and it’s great that they have the chance to play with other children while they are there,” said a Kensington Palace spokesman to E! Entertainment.

The family of four arrived at the party, and photographs show just how good of time they had, playing with balloons and bunnies. According to BBC, the little Princess Charlotte was even heard talking for the first time, saying “pop” as her older brother had a bubble gun battle with his father, Prince William.

Prince George was dressed in a red short, buttoned shirt and knee socks while his younger sister was seen in a girly dress with a navy blue cardigan that matched her blue bow. Paul Kilshaw, a kid’s entertainer, assisted the party and created balloon art for the royal kids.

“It was totally over the top, I made a teddy bear and a flower for Charlotte and made George a tree and a volcano,” said Kilshaw, to E! Entertainment.

Prince George wasn’t interested in the balloon art at first, according to Kilshaw, but after he saw what Princess Charlotte was getting he began to crave one and asked for a volcano, as he told the entertainer all about volcanos.

The party also had a petting zoo with wich the royal kids were photographed as they played with rabbits, there’s even a picture of Princess Charlotte resting her face against the fur of a small bunny.

The Cambridges will continue their royal tour trough Canada and visit Vancouver to celebrate a young leaders event for Canadian artists and visit the Great Bear Rainforest in British Columbia to attend a reception hosted by the province.
