South Korea – Samsung has had busy couple months since last year as the tech company has not only kept releasing new models, but also undertaking a new project on the virtual reality marketplace as well. Earlier this week, Samsung released a new feature to the company’s customer support app. The new Samsung Galaxy series will be completely available to the public in the upcoming week.
The update from Samsung had plenty more to offer in comparison to the previous version, as it counts with a re-designing of the app as well with TV home appliances. The tech company’s app called Samsung Assist already had a built-in customer service feature allowing the customer to answers any question regarding their phone.
Samsung’s goal is to provide a better service for its users while also providing them with the tools to solve the problem themselves. In addition to the newest update for the Samsung Assist app launched last week, the company also announce three models available now. Considering most of the smartphone devices from big mobile brands such as Apple can go over $400 easily, its competitor Samsung has come up with three Samsung Galaxy models, all under half that amount.
According to the Samsung, these three phones are aimed at people who can’t afford an iPhone or a Samsung S6. And the Korean tech company giant has managed to develop three phones that won’t amaze for it’s high-tech features, but will suffice the user’s expectations, at a low cost.
The Samsung Galaxy Express Prime GoPhone was released on Friday at $130 while the Samsung Galaxy J3 and Galaxy Express 3 are set for launch later this week at $170 and $80 accordingly.
The tech company Samsung has assured to provide its users with a wide range for they to choose from, as all run on Android OS. The J3 model however, is the most advanced phone of all three, as it counts with a Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, as well as a 5-inch AMOLED screen. The J3 also features a 5-megapixel camera with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera as well.
Special Edition & Virtual Reality headsets
In addition to the latest Galaxy series, Samsung is rumored to release a Galaxy S7 Olympic edition in time for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Amazingly enough, if the rumors are true, Samsung would surely introduce it at the Olympic games as the Korean tech giant is a Worldwide Olympic Partner. Samsung is known for contributing in the wireless device field in previous Olympic events, so it wouldn’t come as a surprise.
Nevertheless, the idea of a device is very much likely to happen, as Samsung is set to provide an enhanced view of the games through its virtual reality device.
The Samsung’s Gear VR headset would provide the company with a unique experience for users with the phone, as the device requires a smartphone introduced in order to work. For now, all fans can do is wait, and hope for the company to exceed their expectations as the year continues its progress.
