“He became disorderly, using profanities and vulgar language in front of the women and children present,” police said in a statement. “He was told to leave the area and refused, becoming aggressive toward the officer. When the officer attempted to place LaBeouf under arrest, LaBeouf ran to a nearby hotel. LaBeouf was arrested in the hotel lobby, where his disorderly behavior continued,” stated the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department jail records.

LaBeouf was released later this morning

According to the police office, LaBeouf became disorderly at Savannah’s City Market around 4 a.m.; he approached a bystander and an officer to ask them for a cigarette. When they refused, he started acting irrationally, swearing in front of all the people in the place, where there were also kids. The officer told him to leave the premises, but Shia Labeouf refused and started being aggressive with the officer.

When the officer tried to arrest the actor for his behavior, LaBeouf ran to a hotel that was close to that place. He finally apprehended the actor in the lobby. However, he didn’t calm down, his erratic behavior continued. LeBeouf was taken to the police department where he was charged with obstruction, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness.

He was released at 11 a.m. from jail after paying $7,000 for his charges. Labeouf’s representatives have not made any comments about this incidence.

Shia LaBeouf is arrested once again

Shia LaBeouf has been in the spotlight when he was just ten years old when he interpreted the role of Louis Stevenson in the Disney series “Even Stevens” in 1996. He got great roles in movies such as Transformers (2007, 2009, 2011), Indiana Jones (2008), Nymphomaniac (2013) among others. Though he has been considered an excellent artist, he has been surrounded by many critiques in the last years regarding his conduct in public. In 2005, he was arrested in Los Angeles and charged with assault with a deadly weapon, because he threatened a neighbor and then appeared in his house with a kitchen knife.

On November 4, 2007, LeBeouf was arrested after he refused to leave a Chicago Walgreens, for his behavior. The police issued an arrest warrant for LaBeouf in March 2008 after he missed a court appearance for a ticket he received for smoking in Burbank the month before.

On July 27, 2008, he was involved in a car accident in Los Angeles. Officers stated that they smelled alcohol on the actor’s breath. Shia refused to go through a Breathalyzer examination, and he was arrested for drunk driving, having his license suspended for a year.  Given the injuries he suffered in his hand, he had several surgeries.

On February 5, 2011, he was arrested for taking to the Los Angeles police department after a fight he was in a Tavern bar, where he was punched in the face. On June 2014, he was arrested and was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespass for his behavior at the New York’s Studio 54 Theater. Apparently, LaBeouf was screaming and refused to leave the theater, forcing managers to call the police. LaBeouf spat at the officer at that moment, and he used an impolite vocabulary during his arrest.
