When the woman arrived at the hospital, doctors, to discard any diseases, they first thought the stomach pain was because of a kidney stone and decided to make a CAT-scan, an X-ray image using computerized axial tomography, but at the end, they made an ultrasound that showed the baby.

The baby was born on Wednesday at 3:50 am. It turned to be a healthy boy and weighed 7 pounds and 3 ounces. His parents Michael and Stephanie named him Shaun Jude Jaegers.

The couple had already three children Jakob, Dylan, and Sadie, when their 2-year-old daughter, Sadie, was born doctors said Stephanie was going through pre-menopause and got a blood transfusion after the labor.

The unknown existence of baby Shaun

Stephanie’s husband posted on Facebook the news about their baby number 4, also explained how or why they did not know about the pregnancy.

Jaegers alleged that Stephanie had her period all nine months, which rarely occurs during pregnancy. Also, Shaun was breech throughout gestation, the way he was positioned in the womb made Stephanie do not have pregnancy bump.

A few weeks before the couple find out about the pregnancy, the couple went to the hospital because Stephanie broke her and ankle and doctors told her to take rest. Besides all of this, doctors said after the birth of their third child that Stephanie was not able to have babies anymore since she was presenting pre-menopause. These events made the couple discard any pregnancy possibility.

Kidney stones

Nephrolithiasis, best known as kidney stones, are balls made from minerals and salts developed in the kidneys that go out of the body through the urine duct and typically cause strong pain. Its principal possible causes are the low consumption of liquids, obesity, and family history.

Its symptoms can be severe pain in the lower back or below the ribs, persistent pain in the low abdominal part that increases, pain while urinating, fever, nausea, change in the color of the urine, and small amounts of urine.

The treatments to eliminate kidney stones are drinking water, pain reliever pills and medication to expulse them. Actually, around 5 percent of the world’s population will experiment kidney stones in their life.
