Dishonored 2, the sequel first unveiled last year at Bethesda’s E3 press conference, will be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC users on November 11. The supernatural assassination game is set in the city of Karnaca and users will be able to choose between Dishonored hero Corvo Attano and Empress Emily Kaldwin, the two playable characters.
Details of the sequel will be made public in the May issue of Game Informer and Arkane Studios, the game’s developer, will show the first look at gameplay in Los Angeles at Bethesda’s pre E-3 press conference, which the interested audience can see via Twitch and YouTube at 7 p.m. PT on June 12, as reported by Mashable.
What to expect from the sequel
Just like before, gamers will be able to choose between focusing on stealth or a more ‘guns blazing’ approach, according to Engadget. Fans can expect exciting new powers and spaces to sneak around in, as well as new creative techniques to murder people who deserves it.
Both Corvo Attano and Empress Emily Kaldwin come with a new set of tools to use on the gothic fantasy universe. The game’s original franchise first came out in 2012.
The original game focuses on open-ended puzzle solving and enables gamers to only unlock a few of Corvo’s many abilities during a specific play-through. It’s worth mentioning that each choice served as an important source of information on how the player could face any given challenge.
Players who chose Corvo’s ‘Blink’ ability, for instance, will be able to teleport freely for short distances and could easily sneak around on locations that were hard to reach such as rooftops. By investing in other abilities that were more combat-oriented, gamers were allowed to have a more direct approach in some situations.

Dishonored 2 is likely to maintain that format, which means that Corvo and Emily might have unique abilities from which players will have to choose from during a single play-through.
