Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes have made headlines for more than three years as a result of their secret romance. But only sources have talked about it as the pair has declined to comment in public. Radar Online reported Monday that Foxx had ended the very private relationship because Holmes wanted to go public and he was tired of being pushed to talk about them being together openly.
If they had previously agreed to keep a super-discreet romance as an attempt to avoid rumors, they certainly have failed. Their lack of public statements have done nothing but sparked, even more, rumors and led several sources to contradict each other. Foxx’s friend Claudia Jordan even contradicted herself earlier this year as she said Jamie was “very happy” with Kate and then declared she had misspoken.
The insider who spoke with Radar Online used words that could be painful for Kate to hear should the story be true. It seems like she was the only one truly in love and Jamie easily gets rid of her because he wasn’t committed the way she was.
“It’s heartbreaking for Katie, who would marry him in a heartbeat if he were keen,” the source told Radar Online. “She’s hoping he’ll change his mind and come running back, which to be fair he’s done numerous times before.”
The report reads that Jamie and Kate have good and bad moments, adding that Foxx is now asking for a few months to think things through.
For its part, Us Weekly reported that multiple sources said the couple was “for sure still together.” And another insider told E! News that they are so focused on their stable relationship that they don’t really care if everyone else starts saying they have split.
An incredibly private romance
E! News called the pair “the most private celebrity couple in existence.” Indeed, it is hard to believe they have managed to stay together for such a long time while there are only two photographs that feature them at the same place, at the same time.
One picture shows them as they attended a benefit in New York. And in August, Kate supported Foxx backstage while he was performing with Barbra Streisand at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, according to a report by US Magazine. Apart from those two scenarios, it remains unknown what they usually do or where they go together.
Before the rapper and Oscar-winner actor, Kate was married to Tom Cruise. They were together from 2006 to 2012 and had Suri, a 10-year-old girl. As for Foxx, he has two daughters, Corinne and Annalise, from a previous relationship.
